In 2000 we noticed that more than 42 % of the patients would leave the treatment for various reasons among them was the cost of transportation and lodging, and we made the decision to facilitate lodging, food bags from the basic basket, transportation and funeral services in case the patients could not win the battle. Currently we have been able to reduce the dropout to less than 1 %.

Ahora hemos logrado bajar la tasa de abandono a menos del 1%.

El Proyecto Salvando Niños con Cáncer es único, demuestra que la interacción positiva y eficiente entre iniciativa privada, el Gobierno y todos los benefactores que creen y apoyan esta causa, puede desarrollarse de forma responsable, transparente y eficiente en pro del Proyecto, el cual brinda esperanza de vida a la niñez y adolescencia guatemalteca afectada por el cáncer a nivel Nacional.
